Thought I’d post something quick and lighthearted – I need to write something positive.
If you’re from the UK there’s no doubt you’ll have heard of Lush in all its glory. It’s almost impossible to miss that cloud of heavenly aromas that hits you when you walk past any of their stores. Even if you don’t live near a shop, there’s no escaping Lush’s huge online presence. Almost everyone (near enough) has posted a “Lush Haul” or something similar on their blog/vlog pages at some point. I decided I’d jump on the band wagon.
Lush is particularly popular with vegetarians, vegans and others who are interested in animal welfare, as the company actively promotes animal rights. Furthermore none of their products contain/ or are tested on animals. We need more companies like this.
Anyway, there is one bath bomb/ ballistic in particular that I can’t help but put in my basket every Christmas – The Cinders Bath Ballistic – and oh my gosh it’s good. At first glance it just looks like an average bath bomb: small and round. It’s so much more than that. It’s a nose party and all the delicious smells of Christmas are invited, like cinnamon and popping candy! It’s such a warming smell that just gives me that warm, fuzzy feeling of festivities.
Once dropped into a steamy, hot bath it fizzes away and turns the water into a toasty orange paradise. The popping candy then starts to crackle away, it’s like sitting next to an old wood fire with your favourite book and a cup of tea: so calming. Hopping into the bath is no different, the water is soothing and serene. Time to relax…
Unfortunately it’s part of the Christmas range so it’s only available in those chilly winter months, which in my opinion is the best season for baths.
